L’Église apostolique de l’Orient : de la rupture au rétablissement de la communion avec Rome.

Résumé : Après avoir rappelé quelques données historiques sur le christianisme de la tradition assyro-chaldéenne, l’auteur expose quelques traits de la spécificité de sa christologie, dans son élaboration patristique et sa formulation synodale du V^e au VII^e siècle, notamment sous l’influence de Mar Babaï le Grand, puis il présente les acquis des dialogues menés par l’Église de l’Orient avec l’Église catholique, en particulier l’accord christologique de 1994.

Abstract : After recalling some historical data on the Assyrian-Chaldean Christian tradition, the author exposes some features of the specificity of its Christology, in its patristic elaboration and in its synodal formulation from the 5^th to the 7^th centuries, notably under the influence of Mar Babai the Great. Then he presents the gains of the dialogues led by the Church of the East with the Catholic Church, in particular the Christological agreement of 1994.
