L’Église du Danemark, une Église du peuple (folkekirken)
Résumé : Après une brève esquisse des caractéristiques de la folkekirken et de son insertion dans la culture danoise, l’auteur présente les aspects négatifs de son organisation du fait de ses liens avec l’État, puis tente de montrer comment la dimension missionnaire est essentielle à une juste compréhension de son identité et de son action, en accord selon lui avec la théologie de Martin Luther.
Abstract : The article offers a brief sketch of the main features and specificities of folkekirken as experienced in the Church of Denmark. This is followed by a presentation of the negative aspects of its organization due to the close and formal links between Church and State, which includes an outline of the differences in missional dimensions given the way that folkekirken operates. In conclusion the author sets these challenges in the context of missional injunctions in Martin Luther’s theology and looks at the possibilities of “folk” church based mission in Denmark.
