Résumé : Après un rappel de quelques fondamentaux de l’orthodoxie tiré de l’encyclique du concile de Crète de 2016 et une brève appréciation d’ensemble du document de la CÉPE, l’auteur en propose une lecture cursive critique, soulignant que la procréation médicalement assistée dérive d’une transgression initiale et du refus de statuer sur l’embryon humain et de le reconnaître comme personne dès sa conception, ouvrant ainsi le champ à toutes les transgressions possibles.
Abstract : After recalling some Orthodox fundamentals set forth in the encyclical of the Council of Crete in 2016, as well as providing a brief overall appreciation of the CPCE document, the author provides a cursory critical reading in which he emphasizes the notion that medically assisted procreation derives from an initial transgression and refusal to recognize the status of the human embryo – i.e., the fact that it a person from the moment of conception – thus opening the way to all sorts of future transgressions.
