Mgr Gerhard Feige, Thèses catholiques pour la commémoration de la Réforme en 2017. Un défi salutaire.
Résumé : Le président de la Commission pour les affaires œcuméniques de la Conférence épiscopale allemande propose dix thèses sur la commémoration de la Réformation en 2017, dans lesquelles il rappelle l’évolution de l’interprétation de la démarche de Luther et de la vie des Églises depuis le XVIe siècle, avant d’inviter les protagonistes à centrer le Jubilé sur l’annonce du Christ, en tenant compte du contexte sécularisé d’aujourd’hui et des facteurs non-ecclésiaux et à élargir leurs initiatives à d’autres Églises compte tenu de la nouvelle configuration du christianisme mondial.
Abstract : The president of the Commission for ecumenical affairs of the German Episcopal conference presents ten theses on the 2017 commemoration of the Reformation, in which he recalls the evolution of the interpretation of Luther’s measures and the lives of the Churches sins the XVIth century before inviting protagonists involved to focus the Jubilee on Christ’s announcement, by taking into consideration today’s secularized context and non-ecclesial factors and extending these initiatives to other Churches in light of the new configuration of Global Christianity.
Nicolas Kazarian, 500 ans après la Réformation. Lecture orthodoxe du document « Réformation 1517-2017. Perspectives œcuméniques ».
Résumé : Proposant un regard orthodoxe sur le document Reformation, qui ignore son Église, l’auteur en commente les trois parties. Du point de vue historique, il perçoit la Réformation comme un signe de l’estrangement des christianismes d’Orient et d’Occident, et l’illustre par le dialogue manqué entre le patriarche Jérémie II de Constantinople et des luthériens de Tübingen. Puis s’interrogeant sur la signification théologique de la Réformation, il clarifie le rapport entre tradition et réforme dans l’Église orthodoxe, avant d’évoquer les divergences de celle-ci avec le protestantisme sur la grâce et l’ecclésiologie. Enfin, à propos des enjeux œcuméniques, il s’arrête sur les résistances orthodoxes, avant d’aborder les évolutions possibles de son Église sur l’ordination des femmes et le rôle des laïcs.
Abstract : Offering an Orthodox perspective on the Reformation document, which ignores his Church, the author comments on its three parts. From an historical point of view he perceives the Reformation as a sign of the « estrangement » between Western and Eastern Christianities and an illustration of the absence of dialogue between Patriarch Jeremy II of Constantinople and the Lutherans of Tübingen. Following this, the author examines the theological signification of the Reformation and clarifies the relationship between tradition and Reformation within the Orthodox Church, before identifying its differences with Protestantism on the notions of grace and ecclesiology. Finally, concerning the ecumenical stakes, he lingers on Orthodox resistances before considering the possible evolutions of his Church regarding the ordination of women and the role of the laity.
Beate Bengard, L’herméneutique œcuménique de Paul Ricœur selon la « Conférence de Trente ».
Résumé : L’A. dégage la portée d’une conférence inédite de Paul Ricœur, en montrant comment il élargit l’horizon de la réception des dialogues œcuméniques au-delà des institutions pour l’étendre au niveau de tous les croyants. Elle précise comment, après avoir souligné les différences des convictions de foi entre partenaires, il cherche à les atténuer en proposant deux paradigmes pour leurs relations : celui de la traduction et celui du pardon.
Abstract : The author reveals the significance and measure of a previously unedited conference given by Paul Ricœur, and shows how he expands the horizon of the reception of ecumenical dialogues to all believers. She underlines how, after having highlighted the differences of convictions of faith between dialogue partners, Ricœur aims to reduce them by suggesting two paradigms for their relationships : one of translation and one of forgiveness.
