Résumé : L’auteur s’attache à marquer les points de convergence entre le contenu du rapport du dialogue trilatéral et la foi méthodiste telle qu’elle est formulée dans le document Par l’eau et par l’Esprit de l’Église méthodiste unie dont il est évêque, puis dans les rapports des dialogues catholique – méthodiste, luthérien – méthodiste et baptiste – méthodiste et au sein de la Communion d’Églises protestantes en Europe.
Abstract : The author endeavors to mark the points of convergence between the content of the report on the trilateral dialogue and the Methodist faith as formulated in the document By Water and the Spirit of the United Methodist Church, of which he is a bishop, then in the relations between the Catholic – Methodist, Lutheran – Methodist and Baptist – Methodist dialogues, and within the Communion of Protestant Churches in Europe.
