L’avenir de l’œcuménisme doctrinal. Une ouverture catholique
Résumé : Soulignant l’importance de l’adoption de la méthode du consensus différencié dans les dialogues pour que leur réception atteigne la vie institutionnelle de l’Église, l’A. rappelle comment, malgré l’enseignement du décret Unitatis redintegratio, les autorités catholiques ont longtemps conçu les accords doctrinaux comme devant rejoindre les formulations dogmatiques catholiques de façon univoque, avant de s’ouvrir à cette méthode, sans en tirer encore les conséquences dans leur gouvernement.
Abstract : The author emphasizes how important it is to adopt the method of differentiated consensus in all dialogue if these are to be received institutionally and incorporated into the life of the Church. A case in point : catholic authorities long saw doctrinal agreements as needing to be conformed univocally to Catholic dogmatic formulations despite what was taught in the decree Unitatis redintegratio. Only later did they open themselves to this method, to say nothing of letting findings have an impact on the workings of the Church.
